Now the Government of Kerala in association with Ministry of New & Renewable Energy, Government of India has come up with a novel plan – 10,000 solar homes during 2012-13. The idea is to give 60% subsidy for the system. 30% will be given by MNRE and the remaining 30% will be given by ANERT. You can feed the power to KSEB when you do not require it and you can draw power from KSEB when you require it (Feed-in-Tariff). The proposed Feed- in-Tariff is Rs.10 - 12 and the consumption tariff is Rs. 3 - 4. The G.O is expected soon
